Hands free Chair Massage Techniques
Practitioner health, avoiding injury and the longevity of one’s career are important subjects for all Bodywork practitioners. Hands free techniques are one way of potentially helping in all these areas.
This is a one day course demonstrating and teaching how techniques in Seated Acupressure (On Site) Massage can be accomplished without relying on the hands, by the use of the Practitioner’s elbow and forearm. By increasing the number of techniques a Practitioner can offer, the Massage can be tailored even more to suit both Client and Practitioner.
Particular emphasis is placed on the posture of the practitioner in applying the techniques.
Eligibility
Anyone with a recognised qualification in OSM is eligible to participate on the course.
Participants must hold a Professional Body Massage Qualification, including Anatomy & Physiology.
