Pauline Baxter

My post College career involved 10 years working within Health and Fitness Club Management. During this time I trained in body massage and loved it! I immediately knew this was the next phase of my career.

In 1996 I took a year out to travel. Having spent so many years helping people improve their health and fitness, it was a natural progression to move into the health and wellbeing of massage therapy or to put it another way.... 'having spent 10 years making people's muscles ache it was time to make them feel better...!'

And so I launched my own business PoSitive Body Health where I offer a range of therapies including Seated Acupressure Massage, Sports Massage, Aromatherapy, Hopi Ear Candles, Indian Head Massage and PureStretch.

I qualified in Seated Acupressure in 1998 with Academy of On Site Massage (AOSM) and two years later I was invited to become a tutor with them. I was and still am, proud to be part of such a professional training school.

My love for teaching this type of massage meant I became more and more involved with AOSM to the extent that in 2006, I became Director and Owner of AOSM.

In the words of the famous advert, 'I loved it so much I bought the company'!

The Academy offers a range of training courses across the UK,and runs an association knonw as OSMA (On Site Massage Association). OSMA is designed for professional on site therapy practitioners.

We regularly review and refresh our courses to ensure we remain up to date with the ever evolving complementary therapy industry.

My main passion outside work is hockey - as anyone who knows me will testify! I have been playing since I was 11 and still thoroughly enjoy it.

As long as I can still run I will still play!
