AOSM Support Group Membership Joining Terms and conditions

  • You understand AOSM Membership runs for 12 months, renewable annually. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, and include an administration fee of £15. AOSM reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.

  • Members will be notified by email of any changes to Terms & Conditions of Membership.

  • It is your responsibility to notify AOSM to any changes of your contact details

  • Your contact details will be stored and used according to the AOSM Privacy Policy

  • To be a member of AOSM you must either be qualified as an AOSM Seated Acupressure Diploma practitioner or, have completed a minimum of one AOSM post graduate course. 

  • AOSM Seated Acupressure Diploma qualified: please supply a copy of your certificate if you qualified before 2007

  • It is your responsibility to ensure you hold current professional indemnity insurance. A copy of your current insurance certificate must be available upon request

  • As a professional practitioner you are required to keep up to date with industry guidelines and to ensure continuous professional development (CPD) takes place on an annual basis. It is recommended that you obtain a minimum of 15 CPD points per annum. A copy of your annual CPD records is not required by AOSM but must be submitted to AOSM upon request

  • You confirm you have not had any membership refused or terminated by any professional body or association as a result of disciplinary action and/or professional misconduct

  • AOSM reserves the right to remove the membership of anyone charged with professional malpractice or ethical misconduct. In this case the membership certificate should be returned to AOSM and the AOSM logo and details removed from all on line use, paper/printing materials of, and anywhere else used by, the individual concerned

  • AOSM reserves the right to refuse or cancel membership if it is deemed inappropriate to the standards, rules and regulations of membership

  • AOSM has an on line forum accessible to members only via the website www.aosm.co.uk and a private FaceBook group

  • Members of AOSM have the option to register with both. Please note by not registering you may miss out on some offers and information but you will still receive the regular AOSM e-bulletin. Details of how to register will be emailed to you upon receipt of membership fee payment.
