 •  Do your wrists, hands and arms ache or hurt after a day of massage?
 •  Does your back ache after completing several massages?
 •  Would you like to increase the range of acupressure techniques you offer?
 •  Do you struggle to complete a consultation and massage in the time available?
 •  Are you unsure how to provide massage to the corporate sector?

 If you have answered yes to any of these questions, then we can help.

 Our bespoke training helps identify where your issues may originate and offers solutions. This may include;

  •  hands on training to provide alternative techniques and their correct application
  • how to adapt the massage effectively according to client requirements
  •  methods to help speed up completion of the health questionnaire, whilst ensuring you get the information you need
  •  a greater understanding of what to do with the information gathered

Who This Training Is For

Whether returning to Seated Acupressure/On Site Massage after a career break, or you simply want to refresh and refine your existing knowledge and skills, this is the course for you. Here at Academy of On Site Massage we offer bespoke refresher training for up to six practitioners per training session.

Please note:  Participants must hold a recognised qualification in Seated Acupressure/On Site Massage that includes Anatomy & Physiology, and suitable insurance. Note that the A&P can be part of, or separate from, the Seated Acupressure qualification. We also recommend all practitioners hold a First Aid qualification.

Who Provides the Training?

These bespoke training solutions are brought to you by Academy of On Site Massage, a well-known and respected trainer of practitioners in Seated Acupressure/On Site Massage for over 25 years.

Having been a full-time massage practitioner since 1997, owner Pauline Baxter has gained a wealth of in-depth knowledge and experience within the complementary therapy sector.

Her speciality area of Seated Acupressure Massage began after she successfully gained her Seated Acupressure Diploma with Distinction in 1998. From there, she ventured into the corporate world, providing Massage At Work.
But it doesn't stop there.

In 2000, Pauline became a tutor with Academy of On Site Massage and loved it so much that in 2006 she took over ownership of the company, and is still there today.

In addition, Pauline has;

• developed training solutions specifically for taking massage into the corporate sector
• been a provider of corporate massage for over 25 years
• written Seated Acupressure specific articles for several complementary therapy industry magazines
• in 2018 and 2019 she was a Judge for the National Massage Championships UK

You can rest assured that you are in expert hands for this bespoke training solution!

How It Works

Our refresher training runs in a bespoke format for up to 6 practitioners per training session.
The minimum number of hours per training session is 3, with a maximum of 6.
A pre-course questionnaire is required from each participant to establish which practical aspects of the massage concern individuals.
Focus is predominantly on the execution of practical skills and techniques, ensuring they are carried out as safely, effectively and efficiently as possible.
Massage is a hands-on therapy, after all!

Even if you didn't train with AOSM, you will still benefit from this course. An attendance certificate is provided on successful completion of the course.
